Grapes: SAUVIGNON BLANC
Region: Marlborough, New Zealand
Exotic. Nashi pear. Melon.
A startling revision of Marlborough SAUVIGNON BLANC, made naturally, by two incredibly well-travelled winemakers.
Exotic and lifted, with juicy nashi pear and wafty but subtle botanical notes. It's quite explosive on the palate, with broad and fleshy, melon-esque textures and a wonderfully long, acid-driven finish. This is Loire finesse with Marlborough intensity, free from those overtly green and pungent fruit characters that SAUVIGNON BLANC is mostly known for in these parts. Very refreshing.
