Style: Barrel Fermented Sour Brett IPA
Region: Botany, NSW
Refreshing. Fruity. Oak.
There are many interesting things happening in this beer. At its heart it is a single hop IPA using Nelson Sauvin from NZ. It strays from that path when it is fermented with a new lactic acid producing yeast strain and then barrel conditioned with Brettanomyces. Think refreshing white wine characters, a balancing acidity and an earthy barrel backbone.
